AD HOC WORKING GROUP ON PROLIFERATION ISSUES (NRC(PROL))

The Ad Hoc Working on Proliferation Issues is aimed at:

· enhancing NATO-Russia non-proliferation dialogue in support of efforts against proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery.

· evaluating global trends in the proliferation of WMD and their means of delivery and exploring the possibility of facilitating a regular exchange of information on WMD related issues, with the aim of developing joint analyses and policy papers on proliferation threats and trends.

· exploring ways in which NRC member states can work together politically to promote effective multilateral efforts countering proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery, through disarmament, arms control and export controls.
